About
This blog is written by John Paul, PhD PAg, a scientist and professional agrologist who has a passion for the soil, for agriculture and for recycling what some of us call organic waste. All of this is written in my role as a professional agrologist under the BCIA Code of Ethics that “recognizes that membership to practice Agrology is a privilege and that agrologists have responsibilities to the general public.”
This blog is about the vision for creating value added products from urban and agricultural waste, of protecting and enhancing our soil resource, of recycling our organic waste that is socially and economically sustainable. All of us, including our regulatory agencies and governments, need to capture the vision of the opportunity that is there in front of us. How can we be a model community to the world that demonstrates ingenuity in recycling our organic “waste”?
